Arm Buildings - Head Office Reception area

The company now operates from a purpose-built office and factory complex in Rugeley, Staffordshire. In May 1996, we completed the construction of this 12,000sq.ft. factory unit and office accommodation, which was officially opened by our local MP, Michael Fabricant. The site was chosen for its attractive rural location, whilst having access to the country’s major motorways. Rugeley, the heart of Staffordshire, on the edge of Cannock Chase, which is extensive woodland bordered by the River Trent is an ex-mining town with a population of 35,000.

At Rugeley, the company have their own design team. The very latest in CAD enables ideas to be quickly turned into projects from where detailed information is placed into the production factory, enabling speedy completion of components that form most building systems.

ARM Buildings Limited became part of the Proctor Group in June 1999.

ARM Buildings Limited developed the laminated panel concept over twenty years ago. The factory now has three vacuum presses enabling complete panels up to 5m x 2.5m to be produced. A very wide variety of insulation materials can be incorporated with the panels as the centre core, thus accommodating the changing regulations in thermal values. Many different internal and external cladding materials can be used in the process. This gives architects and design engineers complete flexibility in all areas, i.e. panel size, the position of windows and door apertures, thermal values, fixing methods and various options on finishes.

ARM Buildings Limited also has its own erection teams or can provide experienced supervision. This service covers the whole of the UK and enables projects to be completed on time and within budget.
